The George Inns history dates back to the 17th Century, when it was used as a coaching house
for ladies and gentlemen making the long and arduous journey to London and Dover.
The Inn to this day still retains many of the original features from this period, with its open fires, low beam ceilings, brasses and friendly atmosphere.
